HOW DOES IT ALL WORK|
Well we like to keep things simple and do our best to get you the best service with little-to-no stress.
Let's walk through the steps:
- Send us a message through the contact form about your delivery
- Let us create an offer on how we can help and reach back out to you
- Confirm the order and we'll get it delivered
That's basically it. There's not too much to it overall.
Now with the simplified version out the way.
Let's walk through the steps you'll need to take to complete this.
1 - Send us a Message
In the contact form we'll need to know some basic information to help get us started with completing the delivery. We'll need your name, phone number, an email, and some key details about the delivery you are hoping to have delivered.
Things that are helpful to have up front are:
- Dimensions of Parcel / Items to be delivered
- Height, Width, Length
- Amount of Items
- Approximate Weight
- Location
- Parcel pick up address
- Parcel drop off address
- Time To Be Delivered By
- Proposed Price for Completing Delivery
- Any Important or Specific details for the delivery
- Temperature Constraints (if applicable)
- Point of Contact (optional)
2 - Let us create an offer
Often times, if you answer the above questions in portion one, there isn't much else for us to do, except for us to accept the delivery, and get the ball rolling. In those event where more details are needed to make the delivery possible, we'll send back a reply. Otherwise we might just respond back confirming that we can help and we'll confirm the payment options.
In terms of turnaround times for responses for an offer. We do our best to respond back, as soon as possible but sometimes business is operating at such high speeds that we are not able to help everyone immediately. Please be patient, and know we are here to support you as much as possible. In the event this does happen please do reach out again. We'll see how we can help and get you what you need delivered.
We are really good at exceeding expectations once an offer is placed then later confirmed but we are human and we are not perfect. Our demand volume can get really high due to our competitive prices so bare with us as we seek to support your business. We've learned that once we can establish a consistent pattern with a business partnership, this portion becomes a lot smoother. So similar to onboarding a new employee, we typically see that consistent vendors create better communications in matter of a couple of weeks if not days.
3 - Confirm the order and let's get it delivered
This step is often the most overlooked when completing a delivery yet we're here to help. Before we conclude and confirm please make sure you add all of the small details so we can get the order delivered correctly. We seek to go above and beyond to get you the best results. So if possible this is the time to add as much detail as possible. What ever is needed to get the delivery to the location should be addressed here. The more detail the better, well let me be honest. The more details to an extent. We are really asking for the most concise details, the better. What this means is, we want to have enough detail to get the package to the right place, at the right time, in the right manner, yet we do not want to make it too difficult that a PHD might be required to complete the task. All jokes aside let's take a look at some examples of concise information.
Here's an example of a request needing a bit more information -
" I have a dog, please leave at fence."
While on the surface, informing us about your pet is a much needed and value added piece of information yet we can make this better. Giving a few more key words would help make this a better series of instructions.
" I have a small dog, often roaming inside the fence near my porch. Please leave the package outside this fence near my porch.
No, need to open her fence to reach the front door."
These little bits of details do wonders to inform the driver of exactly what to do. Now, does the first message technically work? Yes. We usually are able to figure out broad details so it is an okay message but it to be honest, it does increase your chances of a smoother delivery just by adding in these additional points mentioned above.
Any details that help us deliver a better experience is deeply encouraged and we wish to have them to get the job done right the first time.
Same can be said about an apartment complex. Writing in a statement like
"Leave at door"
Is not as complete as leaving a statement like,
"Please leave at apartment front door, press #123 for access to building through lobby".
These subtle additions do wonders for making the delivery success remaining high. We have to remember, although you live in this space we are all new to it. So understanding what others might miss is very helpful.
Here are some key details to consider when you are sending a request. They are not always needed, but knowing if these constraints exist helps deliver the best results. Take a look at a few of them now.
Does your delivery involve:
- Person-to-Person Delivery Only
- No Contact Delivery
- Gate Codes
- GPS constraints where courier must adjust
- Narrow Entryways
- Road Closures
- Pets
- Knock / Ring / Text / or Call requests
- Local Events
- Alternate Points of Contact
- Unique Address Locations
- Parking Constraints
- No Access Elevators (If applicable)
All of these above mentions are great for you to consider.
Either way, once we have confirmed everything, we've connected to an agreed upon rate, and time. The only thing we need is your payment and we should be good to go.
Let us know if this was helpful or was something you wished to learn more about. Looking forward to hearing from you.
